Dr. Timothy Vorgias is originally from Ada, Michigan and now resides near Kalamazoo, Michigan with his wife, they have been happily married for 4 years.
Dr. Vorgias graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2015. While in optometry school, he worked in a variety of medical settings where he gained the knowledge to treat patients of all ages. He started his rotation working at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Grand Rapids where he enjoyed interactions with the veterans, and hearing their stories. He then went to St. Mary’s Diabetic Clinic in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There he experienced a high level of clinical training in diagnosing and treating the effects of diabetes in the eyes. He then moved on to work at Cherry Street Health Services where he obtained knowledge of pediatric conditions of the eyes, as well as seeing patients of all ages in a primary care setting.
Dr. Vorgias and his wife have volunteered on 2 mission trips to Guyana. There he treated patients of all ages. Both Dr. Vorgias and his wife are passionate about helping people. They plan to do more mission trips in the future.
